How to use this site
Everything the Lowry Crossing Civic Hub offers — and where to find it.
Ask the AI anything
On the home page, type a natural question like “Can I keep chickens?” or “How tall can a backyard fence be?” The AI searches city, county, and state ordinances, meeting minutes, and other civic data — then gives you a short answer with numbered citations. Click any citation to jump to the full source.
Browse ordinances
The Ordinances page lets you browse city ordinances by chapter, Collin County regulations, and Texas state laws. Each document shows its source and effective date. You can toggle any ordinance into “Plain English” for easier reading.
Explore meeting minutes & agendas
Read 128+ City Council meeting minutes with AI summaries, ordinance tracking, and a Q&A feature — ask questions about any meeting. Upcoming meeting agendas are posted at least 72 hours before a meeting. You can even request to get on the agenda.
Track meetings & events
The Calendar shows upcoming city council meetings, public hearings, and community events. RSVP directly from event cards on the home page.
Know your city leaders
The City Leaders page lists Mayor, Council members, and key staff with bios, ward assignments, and contact info. The Council Vote Tracker shows how each member has voted on every recorded motion.
Stay informed
Civic Hub News aggregates local stories auto-curated for Lowry Crossing. Regional Updates covers Collin County and neighboring cities. The Hwy 380 Tracker follows the widening project that affects our commute. Browse everything by theme on the Topics page.
Support local businesses
The Local Business Directory lists 40+ businesses serving Lowry Crossing with ratings, reviews, addresses, and hours. Browse by category — Food & Dining, Services, Automotive, and more. A “Business of the Week” spotlight rotates on the home page every Monday.
Join the community forum
The Community Forum is open to all residents. Post by name or anonymously about anything from building permits to pet sightings. Moderators may reply with an “Official Response” to clarify city policy. Relevant local businesses are suggested automatically on each post.
Buy, sell, & give away
The Marketplace lets neighbors list items for sale, free giveaways, or wanted posts. Filter by category (furniture, electronics, tools, etc.) and contact sellers directly.
