Terms of use

Plain and simple. By using the Lowry Crossing Civic Hub you agree to these terms. We wrote them to be readable — no fine print traps.

What this site is

This is an independent, resident-built place to talk with neighbors, look up city information, and keep an eye on local government. It is not run by, or affiliated with, the City of Lowry Crossing or any government body. Official information should always be confirmed with the city or county directly.

Who can use it

The community areas are for real neighbors. When you create an account you agree to give accurate information and to keep your login to yourself. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We never ask for your age or birthday; you simply confirm you are an adult when you sign up.

Be a good neighbor

When you post, you agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In short: attack ideas, not people; no profanity, slurs, harassment, threats, or hate speech; no spam or scams; and don’t post other people’s private information. Content that breaks these rules can be removed, and repeat offenders can be suspended.

Your content

You own what you write. By posting, you give this site permission to display and store your post so neighbors can see it. You’re responsible for what you share — make sure it’s yours to share and that it’s true to the best of your knowledge.

AI answers are a starting point

Some answers (like the “Ask” search and meeting summaries) are generated with AI and can contain mistakes. Every important fact links to its official source — please check the source before relying on it.

No warranties

This site is provided “as is,” as a free community service. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or online. Nothing here is legal, financial, or professional advice.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When you do, your personal information is removed and anything you posted publicly is anonymized.

Changes & contact

These terms may be updated as the site grows; we’ll post the current version here. Questions? Reach us through the Contact page. See also our Legal & Privacy page.
