Group Guidelines
Groups are small, neighbor-run spaces. These rules keep them friendly and safe.
1. Who can start a group
Verified Lowry Crossing residents whose account is at least 7 days old. A site moderator reviews each new group before it opens.
2. The site rules still apply
Everything in the Community Guidelines applies inside groups too: disagree with ideas, respect people, no harassment, hate, threats, or spam.
3. Owners are responsible
Owners (and the admins and moderators they choose) keep their group on topic, approve members of private groups, and remove posts that break the rules. Site moderators can see every group and step in at any time.
4. Protect privacy
Never post someone's address, phone number, or photos of their home or kids without permission. For events at a private home, use "A member's home" as the location — the site shares the real address only with members the host approves.
5. No selling or fundraising without saying so
Buying and selling belongs in the Marketplace. Fundraisers are fine if the group agrees and the cause is clear.
6. Report problems
Every post has a ⋯ menu. Use "Report" for anything that breaks the rules — reports go to the site moderators, not only the group owner.
7. Adults only
Accounts are for people 18 and older. Groups for parents are welcome; accounts for children are not.
