What is the City Council?
The City Council is the governing body of Lowry Crossing. It adopts ordinances, approves the budget, sets the tax rate, and makes policy decisions for the city.
Why This Matters
Under the Texas Open Meetings Act (TOMA), agendas must be posted at least 72 hours before a meeting. The council can only take action on items listed on the posted agenda. This protects your right to know what's being decided.
Your Right to Participate
A public comment period is included at the beginning of each regular meeting. You may speak on any topic, not just agenda items. Sign up before the meeting begins.
Meeting Schedule
